That moment where you sing with so much intensity your entire body is shaking, and it’s a wonder your voice isn’t.

Let it be forgotten, as a flower is forgotten,
Forgotten as a fire that once was singing gold.
Let it be forgotten forever and ever –
Time is a kind friend, he will make us old.

If anyone asks, say it was forgotten
Long and long ago –
As a flower, as a fire, as a hushed footfall
In a long forgotten snow.

-Sara Teasdale

I love this song.
So much power.
And today, in an attempt to get us to harness this power, our director gave us a scenario regarding forgetting important things, etc etc.

Here, feel free to watch/listen to a very good rendition of the song (you’ll want to skip to about 2:05 – the first 2 minutes are just introduction stuff):

That’s all for now. I’m off to paint and be productive (and eat. I’m crazy hungry).

Peace, Love and Productivity,

Jax
